Ready to apply? It has never been easier, just follow the steps below:

Complete the Lockerby Registration and Application Form (2024 - 2025)
Complete the RDSB Secondary Registration Form
Complete the Complete the STEP Student Application Questionnaire
Complete the Complete the STEP Teacher Recommendation Form
Photocopy / Scan / Forward a copy of your Grade 8 February Report Card and Grade 7 Final Report Card
Drop-off / Fax / Scan & E-mail the completed forms and Report Cards
Please forward all documents to hemmerc@rainbowschools.ca

STEP Program Applicants:

Includes French Immersion option
The STEP Committee will review all applications and candidates will be notified of their status (accepted/declined) by email at a later date
Along with good attendance, learning skills, and interest in our programming, an average of 75% or higher is required in the following courses (Science and Technology, Mathematics, Language, and Geography) in order to be eligible for STEP
If accepted into STEP, students receive bus transportation to the school (if living outside of the school’s catchment area)
Deadline: Thursday, March 7, 2024

Traditional Destreamed Registrations:

There are no academic prerequisites for this program
Students are encouraged to register as soon as possible (completing and submitting adjacent checkmarks 1 and 2) to help ensure they get the optional courses they want
